My daughters first REAL concert – Twenty One Pilots

One heck of a concert!

Twenty One Pilots is pretty damn good live let me tell ya!

My 13 year old wanted tickets for her birthday and it was her first big concert in a huge venue! And we ended up with floor tickets! They came to TD Garden in October 2018.

My oldest daughter will also see them in AZ in November!

I had already done my days as a freelance journalist and photographer at many concerts so I have been to small venues and large venues. I have learned the prime locations to stand on the floors when you have floor tickets as well as what to look for when getting your child the ultimate artist experience. However the most important thing is to respect the artists shall you encounter them on or off the stage.

I scoped the floor for tape and I also watched security closely as they always have the inside scoop as to what was about to happen. I am very professional still when going to concerts as a paying spectator when I am not doing any freelance work; because quite frankly I have a reputation to still uphold from doing freelance jobs.

I talked to a security guard and asked him if I could stand near him (also mentioned it was my daughters first concert) since I had an idea of what action would be happening near his path. He smiled and said sure thing. This landed my daughter a high five from Joshua Dun as he ran from the main stage to the second stage. I told her before this all happened to just hold out her hand as far as she could and remain calm…. Joshua ran right by us and slowed down by her since we were near security and the entrance to the stage and gave her a high five. She swore she would not wash her hand; it didn’t last and she wiped it on her jacket instead!

Opening for them was Max Frost and Awolnation.

Max frost is very talented and uses sound mixing board for the entire show; adding in his beats, vocal ranges, and sound affects to create what sounds like an entire band, but it’s all really just HIM! Read more about him here

Of course Awolnation is known for their song “sail”. They have an interesting storyline on how they made it big with that song and the struggles along the way. Read more about them here

I won’t give many spoiler alerts because the show is something you must see! Great entertainment all the way around! Well worth the sleep=wait.

This jacket was made by K’s older sister! How sweet!
