Ya ya ya… don’t play tricks on your kid… but he is such a funny prankster himself I had to…
So you know the Jimmy Kimmel halloween candy prank that started a couple years ago.. well I finally had the opportunity to play it on Ethan.
This was the first year he wasn’t scared of going out trick or treating and he really enjoyed it. Best of all he loved watching his bag fill up with sugary treats…!
It was the perfect opportunity when I got home to sneak the bag out of his site.. shove a kit kat in my mouth and use the wrapper in a new bag to signify that it was all that was left of his hard earned treats.
His reaction at first was disbelief and you can see him trying to figure it all out … but when I showed him where his candy bag used to be on shelf.. and now it was missing… he lost it.. real tears, real crying..
Don’t judge my parenting. It’s called having fun and learning how to cope from emotional stress! Ha ha
No but really. He plays tricks on us too! We make memories we aren’t always serious. And we allow emotions in this house.
